Carousel is an ice cream shop born in Cole Bay, in the caribbean island of St. Martin and brings italian traditions across the borders. It offers one of the most characteristic attractions of the island, the famous amusement ride the ice cream shop is named after. Inside we find the artisanal ice cream parlor offering several flavours Made in Italy, a cafe that serves on of the best coffees on the island, a souvenir shop and then the cherry on top: a beautiful carousel 1930 style.
Carousel is not just that, it’s also a museum where there are pictures of famous people eating ice cream, so that, after enjoying a tasty cone, clients can walk in the museum and look at pictures or take the historic amusement ride for a spin. The need was to communicate through a visual concept this fun and joyful world, to elevate it to a real attraction on the island.
